About Pickleball League Hub

Built by a player, for players

Our Story

Pickleball League Hub was created by an amateur pickleball enthusiast who fell in love with the game and wanted to share that passion with fellow players. What started as a simple idea to help organize local league play has grown into a platform designed to bring players together and make tournament management accessible to everyone.

This platform was born out of a genuine love for pickleball and the incredible community that surrounds it. The goal is simple: to help players connect, compete, and have fun while growing the sport we all love.

The Pickleball Phenomenon

Pickleball has experienced an extraordinary surge in popularity over the past several years, transforming from a backyard pastime into one of the fastest-growing sports in North America and beyond. What was once considered a niche activity has now captured the hearts of millions of players across all age groups and skill levels.

According to recent studies, pickleball participation has grown by over 150% in just the past three years, with an estimated 36+ million players in the United States alone. The sport has transcended its reputation as a "retirement community activity" and is now embraced by players of all ages, from teenagers to seniors. Professional leagues have emerged, prize money has increased dramatically, and pickleball courts are being built in parks, recreation centers, and dedicated facilities worldwide.

The appeal of pickleball lies in its accessibility and social nature. The rules are easy to learn, the equipment is affordable, and the smaller court size means less running while still providing an excellent workout. But perhaps most importantly, pickleball brings people together. The sport fosters a welcoming community where beginners play alongside experienced players, friendships are formed, and everyone is encouraged to improve at their own pace.

Cities and towns across the globe are responding to the demand by converting tennis courts, building new dedicated pickleball facilities, and incorporating the sport into school physical education programs. The International Federation of Pickleball now represents over 70 countries, and there's growing momentum for the sport to eventually be included in the Olympic Games.

Why We Built This

As the pickleball community continues to grow, so does the need for tools that help organize league play and tournaments. Many recreational players and league organizers were struggling with spreadsheets, paper brackets, and informal tracking methods to manage their games.

Pickleball League Hub was created to solve these challenges. Whether you're running a small weekly round-robin at your local community center or organizing a larger competitive league, this platform provides the tools you need to:

  • Create and manage leagues with ease
  • Organize tournaments across different skill levels
  • Track scores, standings, and player statistics
  • Manage player registrations and team formations
  • Build a community of players who share your passion
